Amba Foundation began as an initiative in the field of education for children. Later, it extended its commitment to the community at large, through provision of primary health-care facilities. Today, it has an established non-formal education programme, a multi-faceted health programme and the Delhi Government’s Gender Resource Centre and Suvidha Kendra under its banner.
Through these activities, Amba Foundation is reaching out about 10,000 underprivileged families from East Delhi. Herein, the overarching aim is to empower the concerned groups by providing access to socio-economic rights.
